I always enjoy when I get multiple family members that come to me for their photo sessions. Kimberly had contacted me for a maternity session after seeing photos posted for her cousin Karla. She loved the work and wanted to book her own session. Kimberly opted for a White Sands for her scenic location maternity session.
She also picked out my two dress package for her Scenic Location Maternity session. For her first gown she went with my pink couture gown that has lots of ruffles in it.
It was a cloudy day which many folks would think would be a bad day but I like to photograph on cloudy days as the sun isn't bright and the colors of the gowns stand out a lot more than when the sun is shining brightly. This beautiful pink gown would almost wash out in the bright light.
Also since it was a cloudy day we can also shoot a little earlier than normal which is perfect when you are attempting to do multiple gowns. I would much rathe get a chance to spend more time in each gown.
For Kimberly's second gown she went with my gold satin gown which just looked fabulous on her. We also added my halo crown as an accessory.
It was wonderful to get a chance to do maternity for both of the cousins and it was also great to give each of them their own unique experience.
