Senior Portrait Photography in Southern New Mexico

Your Senior Year, Your Story

Senior portraits are a chance to celebrate who you are at this moment and create photos that feel like you. I offer senior portrait sessions in my Alamogordo studio and at beautiful outdoor locations throughout Southern New Mexico, including White Sands National Park, Cloudcroft and High Rolls.

Whether you're local to Alamogordo or traveling to Southern New Mexico for your senior portraits, we can plan a session around your personality and style. Choose a polished studio session, an outdoor location you love, or combine both for even more variety.

From cap and gown portraits to casual outfits, favorite activities and meaningful details, we'll create a session that reflects who you are during your senior year.

Not sure which location is right for your senior portraits? I’ve put together a guide to some of my favorite senior portrait locations in Southern New Mexico, including White Sands, Cloudcroft, High Rolls, downtown Alamogordo and my studio.

Senior Portraits Designed Around You

No two seniors are exactly alike, and your senior portraits don't have to look like everyone else's. Your session can be simple and polished in the studio, photographed entirely at an outdoor location, or include both studio and outdoor portraits for more variety.

Studio sessions are a great option for cap and gown portraits, dressier looks or clean, classic images. For seniors who want something more scenic, outdoor sessions can take place at locations such as White Sands National Park, Cloudcroft, High Rolls or other locations around Southern New Mexico.

Your clothing, interests and personality can also be part of the session. Bring your cap and gown, favorite outfits, sports gear, musical instrument or something else that's meaningful to you. We'll talk about what you'd like from your senior portraits and plan the session around you.

What to Expect During Your Senior Portrait Session

You don't have to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of the camera before your senior session. I'll guide you throughout the session so we can create a variety of natural, relaxed portraits that still feel like you.

Depending on the package you choose, your session may include different outfits, backgrounds or locations. You can also bring items that are meaningful to you, such as sports gear, a musical instrument, your cap and gown or something connected to a favorite activity.

Most importantly, your senior portraits shouldn't feel like you're trying to be someone else. My goal is to give you a comfortable experience while creating portraits that celebrate this milestone and this season of your life.

Senior & Graduation Portraits

Senior portraits aren't only for high school seniors. I also photograph college graduates celebrating bachelor's and master's degrees, with sessions available both in the studio and at outdoor locations.

Graduation sessions can incorporate your cap and gown, degree or field of study, and other details that represent what you've accomplished. Some graduates prefer an outdoor session at their campus or another meaningful location, while others choose the studio for a more polished portrait experience.

Whether you're graduating from high school, college or completing a professional program, your graduation is an accomplishment worth celebrating and documenting.
