Even though I have over 200 maternity gowns for clients to use in the maternity photos I get some clients that want what is called an "additional look" where they aren't wearing a gown but something different. I ended up changing my packages to start including these after getting many requests for them.
So what is an additional look? For one it's doing a maternity photo without wearing one of the fancy gowns. I have added Fabrics, bodysuits, and even angel wings to my collection to help add additional options for my clients. So let's look at some of these "additional looks"
Maternity photos with draping Fabric
Draping fabric can be different types of fabric such as chiffon, sheer cotton, organza, lightweight silk, or even satin.
Maternity photos with a shirt, bra and Jeans
Some clients would like to do something simple such as wearing a button-down shirt opened up while also wearing a bra and jeans. Your significant other can join this either in an open button-down shirt or go bare chest for a touching photo.
Maternity photos in bra and jeans or Calvins
Some clients enjoy just wearing their Calvins in a sports bra or bra with jeans as well. Significant others can join this photo for an intimate moment as well.
Implied nude maternity photos
I have had some clients request what they call either implied nude or nearly nude photos. With the privacy of the studio, I can easily do photos like this for my clients. Some will choose to wear just a little something or hold something to cover up just a bit. They may even just use a hand or arm to cover or even their long hair.
Angel Wings
Angel wings are an idea borrowed from the Victoria Secret runway days but lately, it has been trending into boudoir or maternity photos. I have invested in a few sets of wings to give a few color options. This can be worn with a body suit or gown.
Body Necklace
I have this white pearl body necklace that can be used either with a bodysuit or without.
