I can't believe it was already a year since I did little Aiden's newborn photos. I have done several milestone photos but it seems like the year snuck up on me. For his smash cake session we did farm theme so I ended up purchasing a new backdrop to fit the theme and came up with some decorations to match. I of course got this darling cow cake from Monicakes complete with spots, ears and a cute little mouth. Aiden's mother got him the cute cow outfit and he was just so adorable in it.
When I do smash cake sessions I often make a little collage of the star holding "O-N-E" as I think it's a cute photo. Here Aiden was in his first outfit before getting into his cake smash outfit. I do allow multiple outfits in smash cake sessions. Often we will do one outfit to just take photos before we introduce the cake. Then we change into the outfit we don't mind getting dirty or it may even be an outfit to match the theme.
I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell. Sorry couldn't help it and he's just so adorable.
I didn't get many photos of the cake untouched as Aiden dove right into the cake. As you can see the ears are already removed and the top of the cake has been dug into. Aiden got frosting all over himself including his face, hands and legs.
Oh my! Look mom my cake is SMASHED! Happy Birthday Aiden. Looking forward to photography that cute little face again.
