A couple from out of town contacted me for this newborn session for their daughter Lillian.
I was a little surprised at first because I was wondering why they would travel when they are that close to delivering.
They shared with me that they traveled from out of town to adopt Lillian. They wanted to celebrate with a newborn session to use the photos to announce that they were adopting. I was honored that they chose me to document this special moment for them.
They had a few special requests for photos which I was happy to oblige.
They were also huge Star Wars fans and they told me they wanted a few Star Wars shots. I happened to have a Star Wars backdrop to fulfill this wish.
We dressed her up as Princess Leia and put her between a few props I had and they happened to have Chewy with them.
In the Star Wars Saga Princess Leia is adopted as well so I thought this was so cute to do a session of her as Leia.
Liliian is very lucky to find a couple that wants to take care of her and I was very lucky to get to meet such a great family.
