Awake & Adorable | Newborn Boy Session in White, Cream & Sage

Some babies sleep soundly through their entire newborn session… but not this sweet boy. 👀 From wide-eyed wonder to soft slumber, his story was as unique as it was adorable.

His mom envisioned a timeless palette of white, cream, grey, and sage — soft, neutral colors that photograph beautifully and keep all the focus on baby. Together, we brought that vision to life in my Alamogordo studio, creating a gallery filled with both playful personality and peaceful poses.


A Classic Beginning

We started the session with a simple, timeless setup: baby wrapped in white and nestled on a soft cream cloud. These images are the kind that never go out of style — pure, elegant, and focused on the sweet details of a newborn’s face..

Wide Awake & Ready for Cookies

Next, we had a little fun. Dressed in cozy knits, complete with glasses, a plush toy, and felt cookies, this little one decided nap time could wait. With those big bright eyes staring straight at me, he showed off a curious personality that’s rare to capture at this age.

Dreamy in Sage

To highlight mom’s request for sage, I styled a whimsical swing setup with plush clouds and stars. Against the soft green backdrop, his white knit outfit popped beautifully, giving these images a dreamy, storybook quality.

Finally Asleep

After watching me so intently for most of his session, he finally drifted off for a few soft, sleepy portraits. Wrapped in cozy neutrals and resting peacefully, these images captured the calm, tender side of his personality.

One Last Look

Just when I thought we were finished, this little guy woke up one last time — slipping on those tiny round glasses for a final set of portraits. With eyes wide open, he gave me one more curious look, almost as if to say goodbye. It was the perfect ending to a session full of personality.
