Having your maternity photos done in studio is always a good choice since there are many benefits to it. For one having your maternity photos done in studio gives you more control of when they are done since we don't have to worry about lighting or weather. You also can do very artistic photos as well as I have expanded my collection of backdrops to give expecting mama's a variety of choices for having their photos done. Veronica used my hand painted backdrop.
Most of my maternity backdrops are at least 8x10 which allow plenty of room to add the proud papa and even your children. Here he was wearing black pants, a white button down shirt and a black bow tie which matched very well to Veronica's Maternity gown. It felt like a black and white ball photo.
As you can see this backdrop is very long as it goes from the top of my ceiling all the way down to the floor where this beautiful couple is actually standing on it. Here proud papa is kissing the belly of this beautiful mama and their unborn child.
This is one of the artistic type photographs I can do in studio. I'm able to get mama to lie down on some fabric and I get up on a ladder and shoot down on her. This black maternity gown just came out so beautiful on her. Her beautiful hair adorned with a red flower to give a bit of an accent as well as the sparkling belt to give a bit of contrast. My popular maternity package has been recently to get a studio photo and an outdoor photo so that they get the best of both types of photography. I will normally do the studio portion first and then head to the location session of choice.
