I had the great opprotunity to photograph a pair of sisters recently. We met up at Cloudcroft to start this session. We took several photos of them together and then took some of these indivdiual shots as well. Big sis was such a natural. Little sis was rocking this pose. Great thing about being sisters is that bond that will stay forever. It's moments like this you want to treasure every day. #portrait #childrenshoot #childrenPortraits #Sisters
Jasmine was becoming a new teen and her mother wanted to celebrate with a photo session. We decided to do this session in San Jacinto Plaza in downtown El Paso. We did our first portion of the session with this lovely dress that had such beautiful color on it. Afterwards Jasmine switched clothes into something a little more casual so we could try some different poses. The plaza had just been decorated for the Christmas Holidays so we had some interesting backgrounds to work
I was asked to do a really special smash cake session this time. Not only would we do the traditional photos with the smash cake but mama wanted to do a milk bath session as well. I had done milk baths for adults already but this was a cute opportunity. The client sent me some photo examples of what she was looking for and I saw that she wanted a cupcake style cake. I knew I needed to find help for that so I contacted Sweetcakes to help me out with the cake. She also offe
I have done several sessions for Aamiyah in the past but this was our first fall session together. I couldn't wait to get a chance to photograph her in some of my favorite colors. We did this shoot up in Cloudcroft and even though it was a little chilly this sweet little gal was just so warm and cheerful in her photos. She always has such cute little outfits that I just love to photograph. She seemed to really enjoy this session and was curious about the camera too. At one
The first time I met this sweet little gal was for her newborn shoot. It was a special shoot and we wanted to continue capturing her growth in her first year. Since it was fall season we wanted to do a mix of fall, harvest, halloween etc. At three months she can't hold her head up so we had to prop her up in a special chair. She brought her cute little bunny outfit as well as her pea pod. For this shot I put down a nice orange plaid blanket and some pumpkins. Since sh
I had another opportunity to do a milestone session for very special little girl. Her mother told me that she had a kimono for her daughter and wanted a Japanese type feel to the photo session. I had some materials already that I had collected in the past and did a bit of shopping to pick up some missing pieces. I propped a light behind the custom backdrop to light it up a bit and I'm quite pleased with how it came out. It also helps to have such a cutie to take photos of.
Aamiyah was turning three and we have done shoots for her in the past in multiple mini sessions. Her mother wanted to do something special for her. This was now going to be our fourth session with Aamiyah so we wanted to do something special as well. Her mother wanted her to have a silver background and lots of balloons to throw and kick around. We were able to get in several shots of Aamiyah tossing around balloons and she seemed to enjoy it. We also hung up some stars an
I had ordered a new backdrop of a frozen castle and thought it would be fun to do a frozen style theme photo shoot. A couple of shots were taken showing the whole backdrop in order to send back to the backdrop company to help them market this beautiful background. Once we were done with that we could focus on the real star of the shoot, Princess Emalynn. Her warm smile and cute glow nearly melted this set. This backdrop is now a permemant part of our collection so book your m
