Studio Maternity Session | Daniela in Black Feather & Blue Tulle Gowns

Every maternity session tells a story, and Daniela’s journey from El Paso to my Alamogordo studio was all about embracing both elegance and softness. She chose a two-gown experience, allowing us to capture two completely different moods in one unforgettable session.


The Black Feather Gown

We began with the bold black feather gown — a stunning choice that radiates confidence and sophistication. With its jeweled bodice and feathered train, it brought a high-fashion edge to Daniela’s maternity portraits.

Each pose highlighted not only the gown’s details, but also Daniela’s graceful strength. Against the rich textured backdrop, every look felt like a timeless work of art.

To balance the dramatic tones, I also captured Daniela’s softer side — warm smiles, subtle glances, and moments that reflected the quiet anticipation of motherhood.

The Blue Tulle Kathy Gown

After the drama of the black gown, Daniela slipped into the dreamy blue tulle Kathy Gown. This gown is pure softness — layers of airy ruffles that flow around her like clouds, bringing an ethereal quality to her portraits.

For this look, we added special touches — a crown to symbolize her journey into motherhood and delicate butterfly accents for a whimsical finish.

The light streaming through the soft drapes made this set feel heavenly. Every detail, from the flowing fabric to Daniela’s serene expression, celebrated both strength and beauty.
