This week I had a request for a "Finding Dory" smash cake. I had done a mermaid or under the sea shoot before but I wanted to make this one a little different.
Mamma fortunately had many of the plushies already from Finding Dory so that allowed me to focus on the back drop. I created a few streamers to simulate the underwater plant life along with some different style balloons again to give it that under water feel.
We had the cake done again by Monalisa sweet treats. Look at the detail on the front of this cake.
A little client just couldn't keep her eyes off that cake.
It didn't take long for her to really mash into it. Thank goodness that floor is washable.
